Where Do You Get Your Fashion Inspiration From?
I honestly look up to so many different people from so many different places in life and the world of fashion. My fashion style itself ranges through very many different styles. I’m a huge believer that you can have comfort and style without spending a huge chunk of your bank account. I love street style, you know your typical comfort but classy style. Tight jeans, converse and a black tee with an adorable side bag and cute accessories. So effortless! I do love to follow people on Instagram like @glitterandlazers, @sassyredlipstick & Meredith Shaw religiously. I think that all of their styles are so unique but they’re also so relative and in style and I love finding inspiration and idea’s from those ladies! I also love looking to a specific Youtuber named Alexandra (on Youtube she’s Learningtobefearless) and she has such amazing style and it’s style that is effortless and easy to wear, at all times.

When Did You Start Getting into Makeup?
My mother actually taught me most of what I know. When she was pregnant with me she received her certificate in makeup artistry and I grew up watching her do her makeup and she would do mine and show me her makeup tricks. When I went off to college I discovered Youtube and found so many cool videos on makeup tutuorial’s and product reviews that beauty guru’s would post. I continue to watch tutorials and reviews constantly because I always  learn something new every time I watch one!

Why Did You Start a Blog & open IG?
I have always had an interest in bloggers/vloggers/influencers and I love finding out what other people’s interests and favourite products are and I was seeing a bunch of people on my Instagram sharing their same interests and idea’s so I decided to do the same. I had so many friends tell me that I should just start my own open IG and blog for people and it’s been a great outlet for me and my anxiety. It’s great to be able to type out my feelings or opinions on something and get amazing feedback and make some great online friendships.

How Do You Stay Inspired to Post & Write?
It’s not easy…I have writers block, and creative co*k block a lot. I  have all these ideas in my head that I want to create content for but I get so overwhelmed because it all comes at me at once, BUT I try so hard to stay focused on my end game which is sharing. I focus on what makes me happy, helping to make other people happy too from a makeup look that people share an interest with me in, or a real life event that someone else can relate too. Knowing that there are other people out there who like the same things that I do, really help!

What Does Your Boyfriend Think About Your Blog & Social Media?
He thinks this entire thing is weird, ha ha, but he’s so supportive and he actually helps me out so much more than I thought he would. He takes 90% of my Instagram photos, and actually gives me some great idea’s for posts! He hates being in front of the camera so you don’t see him often, but his handsome face makes an appearance every once and a while.

How Do You Feel About the Plus Size Community?
Quite honestly, I think it’s great that we live in a world where plus is a size. For so long gorwing up I was considered “straight sizing” all the way through high school until I was about 20. A lot of things about my body changed, and I started to find myself shopping in the plus size section where they had clothing that fit my chest and my thighs. If this were 2001 and I was 26 years old and a size 14-16, I’d be screwed for wanting to dress in statement pieces and show off my curves. I think it’s a great thing, socially, to have “communities” like this…But I also believe we still have a long way to go…

Are You Following or Into the Energy of Crystals & Full Moons?
Honestly, no… In my opinion, and if this is going to trigger you to call me out and drag me, stop reading here… I don’t believe a crystal can change your mood or change your own energy. I truly believe that we make our own energy and destiny and we control our happiness. I’m sure there are many scientific or spiritual backgrounds- and knowledge behind all types of crystals and energy infused items, but just like our moods, we can control things that happen. I do think the rose quartz crystal is gorgeous, and I even have a salt lamp in rose quarts that gives off a gorgeous beam of light, but I do not use it or have it in order to exude positivity and light into my life.

What Kind of Photography do You do & Is It Your Full Time Job?
I specialize in portrait & wedding photography and no it is not my full-time job. I did edit for a local popular photography company 3 years ago, but things didn’t go well with the owners and due to financial differences, I had to find a job elsewhere, which lead to me to working at a major payroll company, which lead to me love my job and fall in love with payroll (weird right?….who LOVES payroll?) and I honestly love having photography as a passion and a hobby.  Hobby I get to use when ever I want, like for my blog content and when friends need family photos or childhood friends get married and think of me. Don’t get me wrong, I love the people I meet and who choose me to photograph their big days, but over the last 2 years, I’ve realized that I want to put out content and make memories for people because I WANT too, not because I need the money…
